The vacation school was an intensive, four-day series of workshops and training events that addressed the question of world literature. It combined keynote talks by leading scholars in the field with sessions dedicated to critical debates in the field, pedagogy and research funding and publishing, and considered the practical implications of new developments in literary studies for academic life.
