First Assessed Essay for all Full Year Undergraduate Students
For all full year students the deadline for the first assessed essay is Tuesday, Week 2, Term 2 by 12 noon. Your essay should be 3500 words in length.
It is very important that you have read the information on the Assessment page. It is also important that you read the information provided on the Essays web page about how your essay should be presented and about E-submission via Tabula. Please also read the information in the Undergraduate Handbook about essays and about plagiarism.

Second Assessed Essay for all Full Year Undergraduate Students
For all full year undergraduate students the submission deadline for the second assessed essay (of 3500 words) is Tuesday Week 2, Term 3 by 12 noon. For all part year visiting exchange or part year Erasmus students the submission deadline (for an essay of 3000 words) is Tuesday, Week 10, Term 2 by 12 noon. For Part Year Visiting and Erasmus students the deadline for the first assessed essay is Tuesday, Week 10, Term 1 by 12 noon. If you are in this category of student your essay should be 3000 words in length.
