Intermediate Years:
2 x 3500-word essays (50% each)

Final Years:
2 x 4000-word essays (50% each)

Essay 1 due Tuesday, Week 1, Term 2

Essay 2 due Thursday, Week 1, Term 3

Rubric:

Answer one of the questions from the list provided for each assignment (see links below for essay questions). As noted on the list, you are also free to formulate your own question, but you must discuss this first with, and have your question approved by, your seminar tutor. You must draw on secondary sources in making your argument. At the minimum, we would expect to see 4-6 scholarly texts cited.
