Subject:Update on term 1 teaching
Dear all,
I’m writing with a brief follow up to my email on 3 November. As a reminder, the University will remain open during the new national restrictions, including our department and the library. You’re welcome to speak to our team in the office during their opening times, which are regularly updated here: https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/english/about/
The department will also continue our blended learning model of online and on-campus teaching. We’re really keen to see you on campus where it’s possible. But we will also move seminars online if a majority of you in any given seminar group are self-isolating or unable to come onto campus.
Please note that we do genuinely understand if you’ve decided to go home for the rest of the term. We won’t report anyone for doing so, and our main concerns are your wellbeing and your ability to enjoy your degree.
We also realise that this continues to be a really difficult time for many of you and we’re here to support you. Remember that you can talk to your personal tutor, our Senior Tutor, Dr Liz Barry, or contact Wellbeing Services directly, including during Reading Week:

If you’re self-isolating for any reason at all, please do continue to let us know on this form:

I hope you can all take a break over week 6. Take care.
Best wishes,
Emma
