CE is a group based in the Department of English & Comparative Literary Studies; we welcome members from across and beyond the University, including staff, undergraduates, postgraduates and those working outside academia.

CE aims to pool resources for research and teaching in the environmental humanities at Warwick. Rather than chase the unsustainable lure of interdisciplinarity, CE affirms disciplinary specificity, focusing resources on creating cross-disciplinary adjacency and contact: a website, tools for teaching and research, visiting speakers, a podcast, symposia. Our goal is to build a critical commons for work along ecological lines.
