Inside the Irish Giant - web and video

The Centre for the History of Medicine at the University of Warwick is pleased to present the live website for 'Inside the Irish Giant: History, Science and Art. The theatre production by Cartoon De Salvo is our latest public engagement event and was kindly sponsored by the Wellcome Trust Centre Strategic Award. Dr Sarah York announced as new History (CHM) Research Fellow

The Centre is pleased to announce its appointment of Dr Sarah York, as the History and Strategic Award Research Fellow commencing in October 2011. Sarah will run one history module and the Centre's undergraduate module ' Medicine, Disease and Society in Britain, whilst also undertaking outreach and a small public engagement event in 2012 linked to teaching, her research and the Centre's Strategic Award. We are delighted that Sarah will be joining the Centre community and very much look forward to working with her in the coming year.
