The Centre for the History of Medicine, in partnership with Queen Mary, University of London, has been awarded funding from the Wellcome Trust in order to organise a series of workshops entitled 'Mental Health Services in the UK: 1946 to the Present'.

Congratulations to Rebecca Williams who has been awarded funding from the AHRC Library of Congress Scholarship Competition.  She will spend three months in Washington next summer.

Congratulations to Dr Angela Davis who has been awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship.  Her research will be on Pre-School Childcare 1939-1979
