PG WiP session: David Fletcher and Ruth Barbour

- Export as iCalendar
Location: H1.07, Humanities building, University of Warwick

PLEASE NOTE SLIGHTLY REVISED TIME.

Hi to all

This informal pg research/work-in-progress group is up and running for the new term.

All PGs with an interest in early modern/C18th are welcome to discuss ongoing work and research issues and experiences. New students are encouraged to come along. It's a good opportunity to meet others, try out, and pick up ideas about research.

For this session, David Fletcher and Ruth Barbour will talk about aspects of their latest research:

Ruth Barbour: Looking at Coventry Catholics through the keyhole. What can the priests' registers tell us about their life?

David Fletcher: Oaths and conscience in early Restoration satirical plays.

The hope is that others will do the same in future sessions.

Looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Martyn
