About the HRC
The Humanities Research Centre was established in 1995 and replaced the European Humanities Centre which was established in 1985.
- We support interdisciplinary humanities conferences and symposia.
- We fund various interdisciplinary research seminars in the arts and humanities.
- Our Doctoral Fellowship programme allows PhD students to organise conferences in their area of research.
- We operate a Visiting Speakers' Fund for the faculty.
- We manage the Warwick PhD and Early Career Research Fellowships.
- We produce publications with Routledge, Palgrave MacMillan and Anthem Press.
- We run 'Working with Publishers' workshops for PGRs and ECRs.
- We organise an annual HRC Doctoral Fellowship Competition launch event.
- We organise a biennial Humanities Book Launch Event.
- We publish an Annual Report.
- We sponsor CSR membership to The Newberry Library.
