Core Duties:

To provide professional, confidential and comprehensive administrative support to the HRC Director and to manage the effective administration of the Humanities Research Centre, including the following duties:

  • Assist the Director to plan and administer projects and programmes of work and the overall research strategy of the Centre
  • Act as the main point of contact for all enquiries
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Centre, including financial records and transactions
  • Manage and monitor the Centre's budgets
  • Co-ordinate all HRC events and conferences
  • Oversee and co-ordinate production of the online HRC annual newsletter
  • Maintain and develop the HRC website
  • Provide administrative assistance to all HRC Doctoral Fellows
  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the Warwick PhD and Early Career Research Fellowships Programme
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the Visiting Speakers' Fund
  • Oversee and co-ordinate HRC publications - Warwick Series in the Humanities with Routledge / Anthem Press
  • Ensure that the Centre complies with relevant university policies and procedures


The Humanities Research Centre is located in room 2.40 on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Arts building on Central Campus.
