Renaissance Centre PG Open Day 2019
You are warmly invited to the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance's Open Day on Wednesday 1st May 2019, where we will be giving potential students the opportunity to sit and listen to a few short talks given by current students, followed by a Q&A with the Centre’s Director (Professor David Lines) and DGS (Dr Marco Nievergelt) with this session being followed by an informal, light lunch. The timeframe for this ‘event’ is 12:00-13:15 (discussion and Q&A session) in H3.56, followed by lunch 13:15-14:00 in the Graduate Space (H4.55). Post-lunch campus tours led by current students may be available on the day (subject to availability/ timetables/ weather etc).
Hopefully there will also be an opportunity to meet current staff members and other faculty staff who will be more than happy to talk to you about your research interests for example and any other queries that you may have, including any potential funding opportunities which might help you plan your next step. If you are exploring the possibility of research study (PhD etc), it would be well worth contacting your potential supervisor(s) to find out if they have time to meet with you individually, before or after our event.
Numbers are strictly limited for this event, so early booking is advisable. To reserve your place, please email Jayne Sweet on renaissance@warwick.ac.uk or telephone on +44 (0)24 7652 4587.
