Our MA degree modules explore both the study of Venetian art in the middle ages and the early modern period and modern/contemporary art, architecture and exhibition culture, using the astounding range of paintings, sculptures, buildings and decorative objects to be found across the city.
Our PhD students are frequently present in Venice, contributing to its rich and stimulating research culture of our programme
This flexible programme is designed to allow you to shape your studies according to your interests and ambitions. You can either spend a term studying and living in Venice (subject to your obtaining the relevant travel permissions) – we are the only department in the UK to offer this – or you can pursue all your studies at Warwick.
We are happy to receive applications for postgraduate research degrees and can supervise a wide range of topics.
