- Holman, Julie
Course: BA Theatre and Performance Studies
Graduated: 2013
Job Title/ Company: Senior Account Manager (PR) – Target Entertainment
Date of Case Study: June 2020
Biography: After I left Warwick I joined a broadcast PR agency as a graduate. My role was mainly sales focused which wasn’t for me at all, but gave me enough knowledge to move to a consumer PR agency, looking after brands like Wireless Festival and Kopparberg. From here, I freelanced at several agencies specialising in entertainment work. Clients have included Dynamo, The Rocky Horror Show (UK Tour), Warner Bros, 20thCentury Fox, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and various clients at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
In my current role at Target Entertainment, I mainly PR theatre, and have worked my way up to a senior account manager. I look after venues such as Curve (Leicester) and Park Theatre, as well as touring and West End shows, securing press coverage in the form of interviews, features and reviews to name a few.

- Le Fèvre, Indigo
Course: BA Theatre and Performance Studies
Graduated: 2013
Job Title/ Company: Senior Account Director (The Romans – it’s a consumer PR agency)
Date of Case Study: June 2020
Biography: Pretty much the week after my last exam at Warwick, I started a three month graduate programme at a top, award-winning consumer PR agency in London. Fast forward seven years and I’m now a Senior Account Director at The Romans (named agency of the year in 2018, 2019 and 2020 – not too shabby!) and feel incredibly humbled to have recently been named one of the PR industry’s 30 under 30 by PR Week.
Public Relations is an unknown entity to many. It’s fast paced, and can be high pressured, but with that comes an exceptional demonstration of creativity, tenacity and strategic thinking. As someone that studied theatre and performance, I absolutely relish the variety this profession brings me. My career has seen me direct Drag shows, script online content, produce podcasts and develop compeltley unique research to name but a few, all whilst collaborating with amazing talent (photographers, videographers, graphic designers, lighting technicians, agents, you name it). It doesn’t get much more eclectic than consumer PR.

Job Title/ Company: Marketing and PR assistant at Mobius Industries
Date of Case Study: January 2021
Biography: After graduating from the University of Warwick I moved to London and joined Post TV Production Company, Clear Cut Pictures, as a runner. After a month I was quickly promoted to Head Runner and Receptionist of one of the buildings in Fitzrovia. After almost a year I secured a job at Mobius Industries as a Marketing and PR assistant. I've always wanted to work in Marketing and PR and Mobius focuses on theatre venues, companies and shows, something I'm really passionate about and therefore became the ideal role for me! They have been such a fantastic company to work for and have truly supported me throughout the pandemic (considering I started the role in the first month of the first lockdown!) The theatre industry has suffered a lot due to Covid-19 and it's inspiring to see how we've overcome boundaries and bought about innovative concepts to ensure the arts endure.

Job Title/ Company: Community Manager at Craft Gin Club
Date of Case Study: July 2020
Biography: After graduating from Warwick I spent the summer in Edinburgh at the Fringe Festival before eventually landing a job with a small but mighty theatre marketing agency called Joe Public. During my 5 years there I worked my way up from the position of Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager, leading on marketing campaigns for massive West End shows such as Wicked and Kinky Boots. A change of scenery and chance to spread my wings saw me join Craft Gin Club in 2019 where, in my role as Community Manager, I have set up and have developed the overall social community strategy and goals for this fast-growing gin subscription club and its members.
