Contributors to the Staging DecadenceLink opens in a new window project will be approaching this year’s conference theme – ‘Milestones and Markers’ – by asking what decadence as an art of refined decay might have to say about ‘progress’, ‘civility’, and the state of theatre and performance studies as ‘discipline’. A screening of Sequinette's high camp re-imagining of Oscar Wilde's Salomé, Fancy Phone Numbers (2020), will be screened before the start of the event at the commencement of the wine reception.
