Research Interests
Emily’s research working title is 'International Development in East Africa: global and local understandings of disability and their impact on Arts practices'. With this Emily wants to explore the links between art practices’, disability and global development, the research will begin by comparing organisations with international funding, to those who have little or none. This would potentially uncover how discourses around disability change from context to context.
