Climate Emergency: How can individual action be effective?
Join the Energy GRP, at Warwick Business school for an exciting event to celebrate Green Week
The Energy GRP co-leads Professor Mike Bradshaw, Dr Caroline Kuzemko, and Professor Nickie Charles from the Sociology Department are hosting an informative event - Climate Emergency: How can individual action be effective?
We will be joined by Professor John Dearing, Southampton University, who is a Green Party Councillor in Kenilworth. He will talk about his career as a Green Councillor for Kenilworth and his research on climate change mitigation.
Through informal discussions and a series of films created by climate mitigation researchers at the University of Cambridge, we'll explore how small actions can make a big impact. We'll also delve into the ways in which individuals can support and drive systemic change.
Our event is open to everyone, whether you're an academic or not, and offers a unique opportunity to learn, engage, and take action towards a sustainable future.
Date: 9th of March 2023
