Are you interested in creating purposeful change within local and global communities?

The Liberal Arts department (School for Cross-Faculty Studies) are holding a welcome event to inform students about our new and innovative Community, Engagement and Belonging MASc degree. This event will be held on Friday 8th March at 11:00 AM in R3.25 in the Ramphal Building, and students from all academic disciplines across the university are invited.

During this session, you will receive an overview of what the programme offers, a glimpse into the course content and learning materials you will be studying, as well as being able to ask our teaching faculty your burning questions about the Community, Engagement and Belonging MASc degree.

About the Community, Engagement and Belonging MASc

On this innovative MASc degree, students will cross disciplines to explore what it means to create purposeful change within local and global communities. You will gain a broad understanding into the theories and practices related to community engagement, whilst developing your methodological skills and exploring what belonging means for communities. This MASc programme offers students the flexibility to shape the course around their own interests and career goals, whilst fine tuning their research skills and expertise in community engagement.
