Dr Nikoleta Jones and Dr James McGinlay participated in a workshop led by IIED and hosted at the University of East Anglia, 14th-16th January 2020. The workshop brought together practitioners and scientists working in the field of conservation. The focus was on social equity and governance of protected areas, a topic very relevant to FIDELIO's objectives. Dr Nikoleta Jones presented the results of a pilot workshop which was conducted in January at the National Park of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and was facilitated by Dr Ioli Christopoulou and Mr Vassilis Gkoumas.
