X10: A Decade of Cross-Faculty Studies

Join us and fellow Liberal Arts and GSD alumni for a celebration of our School and the people who have made up our community over the past ten years.

In recognition of our School reaching its significant ten year milestone, we are hosting a celebration of the past decade at our main campus, and you (our GSD and Liberal Arts alumni) are cordially invited!

Taking place on Saturday 14th November 2026, staff and students (both current or former) are welcomed back to the University of Warwick for a day of activities; including talks on the history of the School and where we are headed, opportunities for alumni to be involved in our School's future trajectory, quizzes and games, dance and music performances from current Warwick students, and so much more!

Join us for a programme of fun fair-inspired games and activities, dance and music performances and much more. Lunch will also be provided by the School.

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: SCFS Pub Quiz

How well do you think you know your former tutors? Our SCFS Pub Quiz will test you on how much you remember about our academic team, in addition to questions about popular culture and student life at Warwick.

6:00 PM: Evening meal at Radcliffe Restaurant

Attendees will have the option at the end of the day to join their former tutors at Radcliffe Restaurant for a final evening meal. This option will be subject to a charge, therefore please do ensure that you book your place through ~~this link~~ .

Who can attend the SCFS Alumni Reunion?

The reunion is open to alumni, former staff, and friends of the School for Cross-faculty Studies at the University of Warwick.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, advance registration is recommended so that we can plan catering, seating, and activities accordingly.

Is there a cost to attend?

You will need to pay for your own travel and accommodation expenses (please see Hotels and accommodation tab for our recommendations and discount rates), including for parking should you wish to travel via car. If you also choose to attend the optional evening meal, this will also be at your own cost. Otherwise, X10 is completely free for alumni to attend!

Can I bring a guest or family member?

Guests may be welcome depending on venue capacity and the event schedule. Details should be confirmed during registration.

What activities will take place during the reunion?

The reunion may include networking opportunities, talks from staff and alumni, live music and dance performances, refreshments, and social activities designed to reconnect the SCFS community.

What should I wear?

There is no formal dress code - where whatever you feel comfortable in!

Will there be opportunities to reconnect with former classmates and lecturers?

Yes — this event has been designed to allow alumni to reconnect with fellow graduates, academic staff, and the wider SCFS network.

Can I attend only part of the event?

Yes, attendees are usually welcome to join for whichever sessions they can attend, though full-day attendance is encouraged to make the most of the experience.

What if I have accessibility or dietary requirements?

Attendees should make it clear in the registration form if they have any specific accessibility or dietary requirements, so that our team can ensure that appropriate arrangements are made.

I graduated many years ago — can I still attend?

Absolutely! X10 is intended to welcome graduates from all years and celebrate the wider SCFS community both past and present.

Will photographs or video be taken during the event?

We will have both a photographer and videographer present on the day, and the materials may be used for future alumni communications and promotional materials. Attendees can indicate on the registration form if they prefer not to appear in photographs.
