Warwick Programme Leads Network

What we are about

Explicitly and implicitly defined programme leads roles across the institution are varied in scope, depth, and level of departmental support. However, despite this diversity, we, possibly more often than not, might experience similar joys and challenges that come with the job. And yet, sharing of those experiences across different Warwick contexts is constrained for some, leading to making us feel overworked, demotivated, and/or disconnected from each other.

This emerging network is an attempt to break the silos and build a multidisciplinary and inclusive community of support that faces the challenges of being a Programme Lead (PL) at Warwick - together. Whether you are a Professor who has been leading entire UG and/or PG programmes for years, or an Assistant Professor who has just begun convening a single module course at Warwick, or anyone in between, this network might be for you.

Join us to connect, explore, and shape this space.

Join us to:

  • connect with Warwick Programme Leads (PLs) across different departments and subjects,
  • identify interest in such a network, and identify what we might wish to gain from such a network,
  • explore opportunities such a network might bring, and discuss whether and if so, how often we'd like to meet/connect.

Contact

The space is currently co-convened by two Academic Development Centre colleagues, Jo Kukuczka and Dr John Kirkman. However, in the spirit of inclusion, diversity, and equity, we hope that colleagues from different departments will soon join us to form a core network team responsible for curating this space.
