APP EXP Orientation and Introductory Session (D1-D3)

Welcome to this first stage in the APP EXP process. The initial steps are to gain an orientation to Fellowships and the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) 2023 and attend an introduction session for the relevant category of Fellowship

Orientation to APP EXP and the Fellowship process

Step 1: (Required)

Please view these four short videos that provide details about Advance HE Fellowships, the PSF 2023 and the nature of making a Fellowship claim. These videos give essential foundational information and must be viewed before attending an introduction session.

Step 2: (Required)

Please review the webpage for the category of Fellowship for which you are considering applying. A Guide to the PSF 2023 Dimensions relevant to the category can be found on each page:

Step 3: (Optional)

You may wish to review the APP EXP Handbook (D1-D3) to gain more information about the process. The Guide to the PSF 2023 Dimensions found on each category webpage (see step 2) will also help to provide more detailed guidance about addressing the relevant Fellowship criteria.

Before signing up we encourage you to take a moment to consider the below:

What category of Fellowship is right for you? (Associate Fellowship, Fellowship or Senior Fellowship). The Fellowship Category Tool can help here.
Which date works best for your Introductory Session? Your submission deadline is 4 months after you have attended the introductory session and registered onto the pathway.

Associate Fellowship (D1)

If you are interested in applying for Associate Fellowship, please sign up to one of our introductory sessions below.

Please hold your selected introductory session timeslot in your calendar. We will send an official Outlook Calendar invitation, including further details of the session a few days before the session takes place.

Monday 20th October, 10am – 11.30am Tuesday 25th November, 11am – 12.30pm Wednesday 17th December, 11am – 12.30pm Monday 2nd February, 10am – 11.30am Wednesday 18th March, 10am – 11.30am Friday 15th May, 1pm – 2.30pm Thursday 2nd July, 11am – 12.30pm

Fellowship (D2)

If you are interested in applying for Fellowship, please sign up to one of our introductory sessions below.

Please note, PGRs are not eligible to apply for Fellow or attend an introduction session for Fellow unless permission has been granted from the APP EXP (D1-D3) lead.
