Tina Finlay

Tina joined the Academic Development Centre at the University of Warwick in 2023 as a Senior Administration Assistant, bringing with her a wealth of experience from both healthcare and educational sectors. She provides comprehensive administrative support for the Academic and Professional Pathway (APP) programmes, including those aimed at postgraduate and experienced teaching staff. Tina is also actively involved in supporting the administration of teaching awards and academic events, including course coordination, financial processes, and communications.

Before joining the University, Tina worked for over a decade in the NHS, most recently as a Resuscitation Course Coordinator at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), where she led the delivery of key training programmes and championed digital improvements. Her earlier roles across departments such as A&E, Maternity, and Learning & Development gave her broad insight into high-pressure administrative environments.

Tina’s professional qualifications span IT, business administration, and adult literacy, all of which support her proactive and adaptable approach to her work. She is confident using a wide range of digital tools including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, NHS systems, and internal databases.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys staying active in creative and community pursuits. She is passionate about learning new skills, supports others through collaboration and teamwork, and is a dedicated advocate for professional growth and excellence in service delivery.
