Introducing the Digital Empowerment Library – A Free Repository of Human Rights Training Tools
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Digital Empowerment Library, a new online repository offering free digital human rights training tools designed for workshops, classrooms, storefronts, or personal learning.
Curated from leading organizations such as UNESCO, Mozilla, Article 19, Amnesty International, Harvard University, and the Electronic Freedom Foundation, the library features over 200 resources, including guidelines, curricula, and workshop toolkits. Key topics covered include:
•Data literacy
•Technology and human rights
•AI and ethics
•Digital security
•Privacy and data protection
•Internet governance
•Freedom of expression and content moderation
•Youth participation
•… and much more.
The materials are available in multiple languages, with direct links to original sources for ease of access.
This initiative is part of the Digital Health and Rights Project, which also hosts research protocols, publications, and blogs – all designed for accessibility,
including low-bandwidth settings and mobile devices.
We are continuously expanding the repository and welcome contributions and feedback. If you know of relevant training tools, feel free to share!
