Research

PhD working title: Reimagining Corporate Tax Optimization: A Framework for SDG-Aligned Sustainability in South Africa’s Automotive Industry

Research Topic: My research questions how existing sustainability and tax incentive frameworks support green innovation in emerging economies. Focusing on South Africa’s automotive industry, I am developing a new conceptual framework that integrates digital twin technology with corporate tax strategy to better align business practices with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The framework aims to show how digital systems can strengthen transparency, accountability, and sustainability in industrial operations. Ultimately, my work seeks to reimagine the relationship between corporate responsibility, taxation, and technological innovation within developing economies.
