I've talked to Warwick Eat several times now. They say they can provide various offers (including buffets, booking of restaurants etc) depending on our budget. I've agreed to contact them again, once I know our precise budget for food.

Make an estimate for the cheapest way to feed people using warwick food and drink + one evening pizza. Carol Fisher is apparently a good person to talk to about food, as she arranges it for all the open days in the math dept.

Monica suggests revisiting the 'no hot food' thing; she says that there is space for several serving stations and as we're all adults, we should be able to negotiate it. See what Carol says.

Day Rate is £35.5 pppday just for (nice) food. Too expensive

Robin Ball suggested we investigate the 'day rate' with those not staying on campus as extras for meals; this cut costs considerably for ECCS09.

Sebastian reported that there is a room in the SU available for ~£300 plus DJ. There is a bar so participants would buy their own drinks. This was agreed to be reasonable at the meeting 29/09/10, and Sebastian asked to book it.
