| Analysis and PDEs | 15 | 40 | The only comment I can think of is that everybody gave a projector presentation which was surprising in analysis track. It probably was the case in all the other tracks. The remote thingy, pointers and such were in short supply. It would be much smoother if there were more projector-related gadgets at hand. |

Training Session - things to include
- Make sure they know how to operate projectors and connect laptops / Macs.
- Load talks up onto computers before session starts and check they work ok
- Write short introduction for keynote - name, affiliation + maybe previous affiliations, research area, notable awards, talk title
- Generally look after the keynote speaker
- Keep track of number of coffee breaks/meals your keynote attends (for funding reasons)
- Strict timing + explain 5 minute gap between talks
- chairing own talk, or not

DH Robert Tang has voulanteered to do whatever we need, this can include chairing; I will talk to him nearer the time about which track
DH Nicholas Korpelainen has offered to chair combinatorics.
DH Damon McDougal offered to chair a Data Assimilation session, and has an idea for a speaker. I will talk to him about how this might fit in to what we have so far/ how many people it might attract.
DH Matt Reynolds has provisionally offered to chair algebra, ask him nearer the time.
MJB Jamie luo, Daniel Peavoy and Quentin Caudron have offered to chair tracks. All are from Complexity but Quentin has expressed interest in a mathematical biology track, and Daniel's PhD is in climate modelling / statistics

Hmmm, no replies yet (3 weeks later).
People I have spoken to are generally happy to help, but not keen to commit that far in advance. This seems reasonable to me, I think we will just have to get on with booking speakers once rooms are confirmed and look for chairs nearer the time. The fact that we don't yet know what sessions we want chaired doesn't help.

Track chairs need to be recruited to suggest and invite to be plenary speakers within the track topics (maybe more than one).
