Cancellation terms

Please appreciate that the Conference is itself bound by contracts for accommodation and meals which have significant cancellation charges. However if you notify us promptly by email of errors with the registration form, accidental double payments or such-like then this will not count as a cancellation and we will do our best to sort things out.

To cover cost of cancellation beyond your control (sickness etc), please ensure you have suitable travel insurance. We cannot reimburse late cancellations.

  1. Cancellations notified by email sent by Friday 28 August will be subject to an administration charge of 50% or £100, whichever is less. We will likewise accept cancellations by postal mail (air mail where available) which are received by Monday 31 August or else postmarked no later than Tuesday 25 August.
  2. Cancellations after the above deadlines, but received AT LEAST EIGHT DAYS before the meeting, will only be reimbursed (at the above rates) after the meeting and subject to availability of surplus funds from the meeting. As our budget is tight, there is absolutely no promise of such funds.

Please take care to give us a clear reference to your original payment(s). As a protection against fraud, any reimbursement will generally be made by the same channel as your original payment.
