'How to win a fellowship'

Half day workshop for MASDOC and Complexity students in their 3rd year of PHD study. Fourth year and Second year PHD students are welcome to register and will be allocated a place on the workshop if available.

 

Objective: Provide an overview of fellowship type funding opportunities to a subset of CDT students (typically 3rd/4th years thinking about their career plans) in such a way as to allow them to make an informed decision about whether applying for a fellowship is for them. Give tips, pointers and experiences which will increase their likelihood of succeeding in securing funding if they decide to apply.


Speaker/ workshop facilitator: Rebecca (Becky) Steliaros is a strategist,facilitator and impact consultant who started her own business in 2012 after along career with the UK Research Councils. Since then has been developing aportfolio of activities based on her skills and expertise in researchfacilitation, evaluation and the impact of research.
