But he didn't fully understand the problem before he began to, trust me, Peter is not alone. Many people start businesses this way. While some people get lucky the majority don't. They mostly end up like Peter making no sales and add into statistics of failed businesses. This is where Design Thinking comes in.

Design Thinking is a problem solving approach that helps entrepreneurs like Peter to understand the problem and the people it affects before coming up with solutions.

Throughout this series, we will follow Peter as he uses the Design Thinking process to understand the problem and develop a more successful solution for his business. We will explore the five stages of Design Thinking, Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype and test by the end of this series you will better understand how to use Design Thinking to solve problems and create successful solutions.
