Team up to build a tech-enabled solution in a fast-paced real world setting to win a share of £2500.
Warwick Innovation District Tech Challenge is a two-day intensive hackathon where you’ll form a team to build a tech-enabled solution to tackle a real-world problem. You’ll get the opportunity to meet new students, showcase your skills, and learn more about Warwick Innovation District’s focus areas: DeepTech, FinTech, HealthTech, and CreaTech.
Through a series of workshops, teamwork and mentorship, you’ll have the chance to build and test a prototype and a share of £2,500 in prize funding to take your concept to market.
Who is it for?
Open to all Warwick students, regardless of degree or prior experience. No technical expertise necessary – just the curiosity to learn how to turn technology into a viable business solution.

| 10:10 – 10:35 | Team Formation & Ice Breaker | Participants meet, form teams, and take part in an icebreaker activity. |
| 10:35 – 10:45 | Review of Objectives and Judging Criteria | Overview of the challenge objectives and judging criteria. |
| 10:45 – 13:00 | Hacking | Teams work on developing their challenge solutions. |
| 13:00 – 14:00 | Lunch | Lunch break. |
| 14:00 – 16:00 | Hacking | Teams continue developing their challenge solutions. |
| 15:00 – 15:30 | Optional Session: Building Your Business Model | Optional session focused on developing a business model for the proposed solution. |
| 16:00 | Close for Day One | Day One closes; hacking may continue remotely. |
