As an ESRC-funded MA student, you are required to undertake an analysis of your training needs, in consultation with your supervisors, in the first and last terms of your Masters programme.

In the first term, you should reflect on any research and generic skills training you have previously completed and plan your route through the MA, including the selection of optional modules.

In the last term, you should reflect on the Masters programme and think about the additional research and generic skills you will need to acquire during your PhD registration.
