European Comission Project on the Evaluation of EU Migration Policies
Dr Vincenzo Bove, a member of the Warwick Q-Step team, recently spent three months (May to July 2017) at the European Commission, Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy , working on a project aimed at evaluating current EU migration policies and making recommendations for improvement. Q-Step Research Seminar Series 2017/18
The first of our research seminars for this sessions is scheduled on take place this week (Thursday 18 October, 3.00 - 5.00pm in room R3.41). The seminar is on Compensating or compounding effects: Can school attended alleviate the effects of family background on academic achievement? Dr Jenny Chesters (Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne) will be leading the seminar.
A great opportunity to hear about / discuss a real piece of quantitative social research. There is no need to sign up, just turn up if you are able.
