The Warwick Q-Step centre is delighted to host this event as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science. Aimed at GCSE and A-Level students and suitable for those interested in maths, statistics, social sciences and humanities disciplins, we hope the event will provide an engaging taster into the world of quantitative data analysis. The day will include short talks on the use of quantitative data to study a variety of different subject areas (such as crime, elections and inequality) and there will also be plenty of opportunity for attendees to work on analysing data themselves.
