As part of the University's 50th celebrations, the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted The Festival of Social Sciences in May 2015 - providing a unique opportunity to view social matters through the years.

Numerous events took place on and off the Warwick campus. The Warwick Q-Step Centre was delighted to co-host an event entitled Data Big and Small: Past, Present and Future.

The event was aimed at those wanting to learn more about big data in general, as well as those wanting to learn more about different social science perspectives about big data. The event comprised a Panel discussion with audience participation and a keynote presentation. The audience included staff and students from across the Faculty and University, as well as external guests/attendees.
