ESRC/Q-Step Schools Event
Engaging with secondary level education students during ESRC Festival of Social Science
The Warwick Q-Step Centre was awarded a grant to host an event for secondary school pupils during the ESRC Festival of Social Science, which took place in November 2015.
Around 70 pupils and their teachers attended the event, from a cluster consisting of Walsall College, Aston University Engineering Academy, Dudley College 6th Form, Halesowen College, Shire Oak Academy, Walsall Adult and Community College, Walsall Studio School, and Ashby School.
The event took place on 12 November 2015 at the University of Warwick Campus. Pupils and teachers spent the day participating in a number of interesting and engaging sessions. The programme for the day included a Keynote presentation by Professor David Firth, small group sessions delivered by members of the Warwick Q-Step team and campus tours.

The University was delighted to welcome sixth form pupils and teachers from the Walsall cluster, for an event on 12 November 2015.
