Neda received her M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2017. She had been working on machine learning and medical image processing algorithms for automatic melanoma recognition from dermoscopy images since her undergraduate studies. In collaboration with different research teams, she was able to achieve high ranks in several grand challenges on that topic. 

After graduation, she started working at a startup company, Arian Pezeshk Kar (APK) Co., as the managing director and a researcher. This company focuses on developing heart disease detection tools that can be accessible to the public. At the same time, she started studying different methods in computational pathology and deep learning. 

She started her collaboration with TIA Centre as a research assistant to the MICAHIL project and now she is a PhD student investigating methods in the field of social network analysis to incorporate them in histopathological graphs analysis and help cancer research.
