Muhammad Dawood
Muhammad Dawood is a PhD student at TIA Research Center, Computer Science Department, University of Warwick. He is predominantly interested in developing Machine learning algorithms for interlinking histology and genomic data to uncover the genes-phenotype link, and cost-effective disease diagnostics.
Before joining Warwick, he worked as a lecturer at University of Science and Technology Bannu for around two years. Besides working as an academic, he worked as a machine learning engineer in a software company where his work mainly focused on predicting building 3D geometry from aerial Imagery. He got his master’s degree in computer science from Pakistan institute of engineering and Applied science (PIEAS). His thesis title was Analysis of Hurricane Satellite Imagery data using machine learning and deep learning under the supervision of Dr. Fayyaz Minhas.
