A first class environment for synthesis and catalysis

We have recently refurbished labs designed to the highest specifications. Each researcher has their own 2 m fumehood fitted independent vacuum system, argon and nitrogen gas lines, independently regulated compressed air (perfect for chromatography) and other dedicated equipment. They also have excellent office and computing facilities, with our own dedicated server. Our support labs are equipped with a state-of-the-art glovebox and other equipment such as chiral HPLC and turbomolecular pumping station.

The department has truly excellent analytical facilities with very open access. Of particular importance to us are the excellent X-ray diffraction and NMR suites with several hands-on instruments. There is excellent back-up from professional analytical staff.
