Launch of the WUSAT Project
Leading on from our experience in the ESMO project, the University of Warwick is embarking on a multi-year MEng undergraduate program to produce a CubeSat that we hope to eventually launch into orbit. Our aims for the Warwick University Satellite (WUSAT) Team 2012/13 project are as follows:
- Adapt our existing ESMO EPS design to work on a smaller scale
- Prototype the framework of a CubeSat
- Conduct a test launch using a weather balloon in Spring 2013, with a camera as a representative payload
