2016-17 Overview

The 2016-17 WUSAT-3 Team made considerable strides in progressing development in a number of areas including

  • Systems Engineering - Mission Architecture, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and system requirements analysis.
  • Attitude Determination and Control System - calculations and design
  • Technical Budgets (see 2016-17 WUSAT-3 Technical SummaryLink opens in a new window)
  • Payload Communications
  • Electrical Power System (EPS)
  • Platform Structural Design (where an innovative 'inner-cageLink opens in a new window' was proposed)
  • Work on the deployment mechanism of the four antenna arms was also developed.
