Julia & Bill attend 'Illegal Wildlife Poaching Symposium'

This symposium was formed to determine possible technologies that could aid the prevention of, or early detection of, illegal wildlife poaching. It was held at the Royal Aeronautical Society in Sept 2018. We presented the potential of the Roke/WUSAT-3 technology. There was no follow-up from that meeting.

Michael Kaniou (WUSAT-3) completes internship with our partners XCAM

As a mechanical engineer, Michael was able to assist XCAM Engineers with their need to learn more about Thermal Modelling. In turn, Michael also gained considerable knowledge and experience of XCAM's work in specialist imaging systems for Space.

2018-19 'WUSAT Team Day' - Sponsored by our partners Harwin

A regularly held event near the end of each academic year was a 'WUSAT Team Day'. We invited representatives from our partner companies/organisations to attend. The team gave a presentation on their year's work - Bill & Julia gave a presentation on other WUSAT Programme activities that had occurred over the year, and we had a meal in one of Warwick Conference's restaurants.
