Background

Petros born in Athens Greece in April 1980. Attended the Single Multidisciplinary School of Athens and after his A level exams was accepted in the Physics department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His major was Electronics and Telecommunications and his thesis was on Switching Power Supplies. Further work that was done was on Active Noise Control. While attending the university he worked as a private tutor teaching Physics, Math and Chemistry. After his undergraduate studies he served in the Greek Navy in vessel Odysseys as an Electrical Engineer, Captains Assistant and Marine Fireman. After his military service hr attended the University of Warwick School of Engineering doing his MSc in Energy and Power Electronics and the dissertation topic was on Advanced Power Semiconductor Devices for Wind Energy Conversion Systems under the supervision of Dr. Alatise. He is currently a PhD student on the PEATER lab under the supervision of Dr. Alatise working on Wide Bandgap Power Electronic Devices and mores specifically modeling and designing SiC MOSFET and Schottky Barrier Diodes.
