Professor Hatef Sadeghi
Professor Sadeghi is a Chair of Computational Quantum Engineering and UKRI Future Leaders Fellow in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. He is at the forefront of the field of quantum electronics theory and has made a significant impact, including the publication of over 170 high-impact papers in top-tier journals such as Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Electronics, Nano Letters, PNAS, JACS, Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Science Advances, Angewandte, etc. These contributions have been recognised by the award of several prestigious fellowships: a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship in June 2017, the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship (1st Cohort) in Feb 2019, a Foundation for Science and Technology Future Leaders Fellowship in Jan 2020, and the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship Renewal in Nov 2023, and by being listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University. He has been the principal investigator on externally funded research grants with a value of over £6 million (FEC) from UKRI, EU Horizon Europe EIC, InnovateUK, the Royal Society, and the Leverhulme Trust. Furthermore, He has a growing citation record (over 5,900 citations, h-index 43, i10-index 102), and extensive collaborations with over 30 world-leading universities and industries in the UK, the EU, the USA, and Asia. He has co-created the next-generation quantum transport code "GOLLUM" and lead its development and distribution. He also serves on the advisory boards of several research and innovation bodies, is a panel member and reviewer for various UK and international funding bodies, and a regular peer reviewer for numerous reputable journals.
