Research Projects

University of Warwick, MSc Research Project

May 2018- September 2018: Near-cell environment on microbial metabolism

An introduction into developing techniques towards single cell analysis of bacteria with electrochemical imaging techniques such as scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM), along with optical imaging such as through time lapse fluorescence microscopy.

Supervised by Professor Pat Unwin (Warwick Electrochemistry and Interface Group), Professor Orkun Soyer (OSS Labs), Dr Christian Zerfass (OSS Labs), Dr Gabriel Meloni (Warwick Electrochemistry and Interface Group)

Coventry Univeristy, BSc Research Project

September 2016- March 2017: Investigating the properties of sputter deposited silver and copper seed layers for electroless copper deposition (ECD) on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films

A research project looking into using sputter depostion to improve the adhesion of copper onto plastic surfaces. This project used a range of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, along with scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
