Warwick Ogden Scholar at Harvard

The Warwick Mathematics Institute is pleased to announce that it now has eleven Ogden Scholars who are involved in the study of maths. Amongst them is Ross Cowley a Physics Undergraduate who took part in a prestigious eight week summer course at Harvard University last summer. Inevitably Ross spends alot of time in the Warwick Mathematics Institute and was delighted to have the opportunity to work at another world-class university. Harvard is widely recognised as being the best university in the world and both Sir Peter Ogden, founder and chairman of The Ogden Trust, and Cameron Ogden, his son and trustee of The Ogden Trust, studied there. Ross studied a course in "Financial modelling, Capital Acquisition and Investment Banking". and believes the experience was very important in helping him to secure a job at Credit Suisse, which begins after Ross has completed his final year of studies.

If you would like to read Ross Cowley's full report on his time at Harvard please visit the Ogden Trust website http://www.ogdentrust.com/news.24.htm
