Maths Department Revision Events

The calendar below is designed to help avoid clashes with revision events and to help students keep track of them. It is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Please ensure that you check the moodle page or Teams space of your modules to find out about any revision events.

2nd year revision drop-in

These are drop-in session where you can come and ask a question about any of these second year modules:

  • MA260 Norms, Metrics and Topologies (or MA222 Metric Spaces)
  • MA249 Algebra II: Groups and Rings
  • MA250 Introduction to Partial Differential Equations

These are for 2nd year undergraduate students from the maths department only.

Feel free to drop in at any time during the session for as long as you like to ask questions about any of the following listed above. Stay for as little or as long as you like. Some of the department's most experienced TAs will be at hand to answer questions. You can ask about example sheet questions, past papers or lectured material. Please bring notes and questions with you.

Directions to D1.07: Enter the maths department and take the stairs opposite the undergraduate office up one floor. Then turn left. Follow the room numbers as if trying to find B1.30 which doesn't exist but in its place you'll find the complexity science common room. Walk straight through the common room, D1.07 is directly in front of you.

How to use the filters

You can filter this calendar to see events in just specific year groups. Just click on the check boxes next to the filters to select/deselect those that you are/aren't interested in seeing. Then click on "show selected".

How to add these to your calendar

Once you have applied the filters of your choice, right-click on the "iCalendar" link under the calendar and copy the link from there. You can use this link to add a live copy of the calendar to your electronic calendar.

Then you can add this to your electronic calendar. e.g. to add to your Warwick 0365 calendar:

  1. navigate to your calendar (e.g. go to your webmail and then click calendar icon
  2. click "add calendar"
  3. click "subscribe from web"
  4. paste the URL where prompted,
  5. give the calendar a name and click "import"
