Our external partners at Kirontech offer a Health Insurance Platform that helps insurance payers deal with anomalies in their insurance claims. Healthcare data naturally involves a number of relevant interactions between different entities. Kirontech has yet to explore graph-based anomaly detection (GBAD) techniques.

The goal of this project is to adopt different GBAD methods on Kirontech's real-life dataset and provide evidence that graph-based data is useful to examine different anomalies.

Research Assistant, High-performance Computing Lab of Tsinghua University

Research on Artificial Intelligence Computational Fluid Dynamics (Jun - Sep 2021)

Techniques: Python, MATLAB, OpenFOAM, ParaView

  • Created data sets of flow around a circular cylinder with OpenFOAM and visualized them using ParaView
  • Designed algorithms for sampling point cloud centers with Python as a part of PointNet++ architecture
  • Performed validation with Boundary Layer Code for CFD with MATLAB

Research on Parallel Implementation of LBM Computing Fluid Dynamics Simulation (Aug - Sep 2019)

Techniques: C++

  • Designed parallel algorithms to optimize simulation and improved the performance by 172 times
  • Developed separate data modules with C++ to implement parallel optimization schemes
  • Developed data interaction module with C++ to process inter-process communications
  • Specified and tested the boundary conditions of data modules according to certain algorithms
