Date: 8 - 10 July 2024

Venue: Zeeman Buiding, University of Warwick

Conference details

This event will start with a one-day workshop led by experts, focussing on communicating research to the public, policymakers, and industry, and it will be followed by a two-day research conference in the broad area of applied mathematics. This event is open to all, primarily catering to postgraduate researchers and early career researchers.

The workshop provides a valuable opportunity to enhance your communication skills, particularly with non-specialist audiences, while the conference will offer a great chance for you to apply those skills by presenting your research in either a poster or talk format in a relaxed environment. The conference will also include talks by invited speakers and plenty of opportunities to network.

There is no registration fee for both the workshop and the conference, and lunch and coffee/tea will be provided during the event. We have offered accommodation to a limited number of travelling attendees, who should have already received confirmation.
