The Wellcome-Warwick Quantitative Biomedicine Programme (QBP) is a leading research community with the long-term goal of building world class research centres and delivering essential people, resources and ideas to address fundamental research questions in the area of biomedicine.

Public engagement is seen as an essential part of this goal helping enhance its reputation in the UK and overseas by strengthening its sense of community and increasing interaction with the public to ensure that our local communities benefit from knowledge of the research carried out by the group.

We aim to engage with a variety of audiences to provide insight to the area of biomedicine, including the molecular and technical and especially the implications for society. Our researchers in turn will have opportunity to improve their engagement skills as we share our research journey and the importance of our core research themes in addressing complex biomedical science.
