ECR Careers in Translation, 12th April, 9.30 – 16.00
The Warwick-Wellcome Translational Partnership hosted an exciting all-day event on 12th April 2022. ECR Careers in Translation was targeted towards medically and biomedically-focused PhD students and postdocs, as well as researchers at the start of an independent fellowship.

This event:
- Gave a detailed overview of translation and arising career paths – from further fellowships and working with industry, to clinical funding and technology transfer
- Allowed delegates to interact with specialist external speakers through a career surgery
- Provided an opportunity to practice networking and pitching, essential skills for early career scientists
- Hosted a workshop on career management, to provide inspiration for your future career path and how best to accomplish your goals
